The Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park is a protected natural area established by Regione Lazio in 1999, with the aim of safeguarding and enhancing the natural and cultural resources of the territory. It stretches across the area between Rome and Viterbo, and includes two volcanic-origin lakes: Lake Bracciano and Lake Martignano. The park offers numerous trails for hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in unspoiled nature and discover the area’s characteristic local villages. The Park Authority, based in Bracciano, is responsible for the management and promotion of the park.
